THE CAST

Anais Noon

Avara

Hey, I’m Anais! I’ve been acting here and there for a few years, and I’ve loved every second of it. Getting to play an intriguing and complex character like Avara is incredibly exciting, and I hope you enjoy discovering her story as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing her to life. We’ve assembled an incredibly talented team, and your donations will help support not only our amazing cast and crew, but also the creative vision driving this film!

Jane McCafferrey

Selene

I’m Jane and I’m super excited to be playing Selene in In Your Skin! I’m a recent graduate of SOU with a BFA in theatre, and I’m very excited to have the opportunity to play a character like Selene! I feel very connected to the script and language and I think having lesbian characters in the horror/thriller genre is so important! It’s for that reason I think you should consider donating to this project, as well as the chance to support local up-and-coming artists!

THE CREW

In Your Skin is my directorial debut, and it has already impacted me greatly. I’m ecstatic to finally share a project that has been at the back of my mind for years, and to do it with such a stellar crew is such a gift. To be fresh out of film school and working with my past classmates on what we are passionate about has been a dream since I started at SOU and I am so excited to have this incredible crew and cast.

In Your Skin is such a turn in what I have traditionally done throughout my film career thus far, and I feel so lucky to have an opportunity to be so creative on a large scale. This project is close to me as a lesbian women. I feel that queer women are incorrectly represented in media, or not at all— especially in horror, and I have the honor of telling a lesbian horror story.

In Your Skin is provoking, horrifying, beautiful, gritty, and so much more. Not only is this an entertaining short film, but a work of intricate collaborative art, and a piece of my heart.that I can’t wait to share with you.

Donating to In Your Skin supports aspiring artists, filmmakers, students, and queer stories. Please consider donating today, and funding this amazing project.
